JMA resumes international trade fair activity

November 01 2021

After more than a year, in which the restrictions caused by the Covid-19 pandemic JMA has resumed its international trade fair activity.

Spain, the United States, Mexico and the United Arab Emirates have been the first countries where JMA has presented its products at various trade fairs.

Although all of these expos have shown a decrease in attendees compared to their 2019 events, the main goal of JMA has been to regain personal contact with customers and reinforce one of its great values, direct contact to the professionals. These fairs have allowed JMA to reach this goal and consequently secure a number of new business leads.

North America trade fairs
The first two events in which JMA took part were the ALOA Convention, in Orlando (Florida), and ExpoFerretera, in Guadalajara (Mexico), at the end of July and the beginning of September respectively.

At the ALOA Convention, JMA's presence was focused on: transponder technology, with the TPX7 and TPX8 + chips as products of significant interest; electronic key duplicating machines, highlighting the Multicode model; and products that provide flexibility and mobility for locksmiths and hardware dealers, such as the Nomad machine.

The JMA Mexico stand at ExpoFerretera replicated a typical workspace for locksmiths and hardware dealers where they could demonstrate the different solutions that show how to optimize their services and develop their businesses: mechanical and electronic key duplicating machines, remote controls, along with the complete catalogue of JMA key blanks.

JMA Mexico also took the opportunity to highlight IFAM products on its stand, which are increasingly in demand, due to their high quality. Locksmith, industrial security and anti-theft products for motorcycles and bicycles were some of the products exhibited. Significant interest was shown from the professionals who visited the stand.

New presence in the United Arab Emirates
Just a few days after the Mexican event, the Big 5 Expo took place in Dubai (United Arab Emirates), this fair included many companies that offer products and services connected to the construction sector.

JMA participated in this fair, combining the JMA products with those of IFAM. In the case of JMA, the business professionals who attended the stand got to see the breadth of product and services for keys and remote control duplication.

Access control for opening garage doors and commercial/domestic doors with a mobile phone stood out, examples: BT Multiuser and BT Slim. JMA also presented at the fair the PRO version of the BT Multiuser system, capable of managing more than 100 users on the same device. It also provides access and opening permissions to other users for specific periods of time.

In the case of IFAM, interest was shown in its extensive range of padlocks, both in the medium-security and high-security series. Visitors also showed their recognition for the brand's cylinders and other locksmith products high quality.

Spain's first face to face fair - Coferdroza
On the 23rd and 24th September Coferdroza organized the first in a series of fairs promoted by cooperatives and purchasing centrals. These events will continue in October and November throughout Spain.

JMA exhibited a range of products, focusing on two significant aspects of the JMA brand. The first being the, JMACloudPro, which is the first cloud application for key duplication. The second, the new online training platform for duplication and key cutting professionals: etraining.jma.es. This important resource, with extensive audiovisual content (video tutorials, product presentations) and live events (webinars) already has a significant number of professionals from 70 countries registered as users.
