We want to help you get a new tablet that is compatible with our JMAKeyPro2.0 app and boost productivity for your key cutting machine.
At JMA, we have updated our JMAKeyPro2.0 key cutting app to version 1.1. It comes with several advanced features to increase key cutting options on our electronic machines in the Multicode, Multicode NXT and Supracode families.
We will stop updating the predecessor to this app, JMAKeyPro, in January 2025. Nonetheless, this older app will still be available in the Android Play Store throughout 2025 and beyond. This decision is aimed at encouraging our customers to switch over to the new and improved JMAKeyPro2.0 so they can get the most out of their key cutting machines.
The software in this latest version has certain technical requirements that are simply lacking in the tablets that came bundled with the first Multicode machines launched into the market seven years ago. Based on our commitment to keeping all our electronic key cutting machines fully up-to-date, we are therefore launching the JMA Upgrade Plan to help people get a new tablet.
JMA Upgrade Plan
Both version 1.1 and older versions of the new JMAKeyPro2.0 app meet modern technology and security standards. Tablet manufacturers are also adapting to these new standards and no longer updating the operating systems on their devices, making them incompatible with many applications.
This means that the first tablets that came bundled with the Multicode and Supracode machines are unable to benefit from the new features of our JMAKeyPro2.0 key cutting app. We therefore want to make it easier for our customers to get themselves a new Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+ at an affordable price. JMAKeyPro2.0, new features
JMAKeyPro2.0 version 1.1 includes new features that will boost the performance of our electronic key cutting machines.
Those new features include communication with InstaCode® and Promaster Master-Keying 8®, enabling users to cut and read from the InstaCode® program and to directly cut master key plans calculated in Promaster Master-Keying®. This update also includes other improvements, such as the inclusion of special-cut keys for Abloy®, Abus® and Ford®.
